Odgovor: Alejkumus-selam ve rahmetullahi ve berekatuhu! Cijenjeni brate, što se tiče odjeće muslimana, treba da znaš da je to poglavlje veoma opširno. Najkraće što se može kazati jeste da je osnova u nošenju odjeće dozvola, tj. sve je dozvoljeno nositi osim onoga što je načelima ove vjere zabranjeno. Ova vjera zabranila je nekoliko stvari u tom poglavlju, a spomenut ćemo najpoznatije i najrasprostranjenije

1-Muškarcima je zabranjeno nošenje svile i zlata. Na to ukazuje hadis Alije, r.a., da je Poslanik jednoga dana uzeo svilu desnom rukom, zlato lijevom i kazao: ”Ovo dvoje zabranjeno je muškarcima moga ummeta.“ (Ebu Davud i dr., njegovu vjerodostojnost potvrdio je šejh Albani)

4-Muslimanima je zabranjeno da odjećom oponašaju nevjernike u svemu što je prepoznatljivo za njih i njihovu vjeru. Npr. da čovjek obuće odjeću koju nose popovi, i po kojoj su prepoznatljivi. Na to ukazuje poznati hadis Ibn Omer, r.a., da je Poslanik kazao: ”Ko oponaša jedan narod njemu pripada.“ (Ebu Davud i dr., njegovu vjerodostojnost potvrdio je šejh Albani)

Smatram korisnim spomenuti odgovor na pitanje koje se često postavlja u ovom poglavlju: da li je nošenje hlača i kravate oponašanje nevjernika? Stalna komisija za fetve u Saudijskoj Arabiji izdala je više fetvi u kojima su pojasnili da nošenje hlača i kravate nije oponašanje nevjernika, osim ako se nosi s tim ciljem. Normalno, za hlače su uvjetovali da nisu tijesne i da ne oslikavaju stidne dijelove tijela. Nošenje hlača i kravate nije nešto što je  karakteristično samo za nevjernike, niti njihovo nošenje aludira na nešto iz njihove vjere.
